·       Day winners are highlighted

·       For the round at Gullane the "day event" in respect of the cash prize was awarded over 14 holes and with 29 points this went to Dave Christie. All players competing on the day actually managed to finish 18 holes and the highest score was Graham Wright with 39.

·       There were 3 players tied on 109 and when this happens the highest day total counts or if still tied the next highest and so on. This has been applied to all the other positions

·       Harry Medhurst retired hurt during the Royal Musselburgh round and was forced to withdraw from the remainder of the competition

·       Handicaps are now being reviewed on "General Play" and adjustments will be announced before Coombe Hill
